Main compartment: For essentials like your water bottle, umbrella, sunglasses case, scarf or thin layer, small notebook and more. Our customers tell us it even fits a bottle of wine ;)
Two front zip pockets: For your cell phone and smaller goodies like headphones, lip balm, hair ties, mints, keys.
One back side ‘secret’ pocket: For your passport and cash, so they’re always against your person.

Field notes

Camel leather is essentially indistinguishable from cow leather in its appearance, its texture and its durability. Cow leather is off limits because in India, cows are considered sacred animals.

The Story of The Everywhere Bag

The Everywhere Bag was originally designed in collaboration with leather-wala Ganesh Das, who has been making leather bags with help from his wife Bina and son Shivshankar for 18 years in the tiny beach village of Arambol, India. To make our collections, we visited Ganesh each year and worked directly alongside him.

We could never have imagined we’d get so much love for this bag! We’ve been growing since 2018, and this year, for the first time ever, and together with Ganesh, we’re expanding production and creating our newest collection with JKM Leathers in Chennai.

Beyond the leather workshop in Arambol, our silk is tailored in Pushkar and our macrame is knotted in Khori. We co-design every single piece, and on top of standard wages, artisans share in 15% of profits, delivered in cash, twice a year.

From a sketch to a bag

Since our bags are made by a real person, using hand-treated leathers, the pieces can and will have “imperfections”, like a trace of chalk from Ganesh’s pattern-drawing or a light mark on a part of leather. These are imperfections in appearance, not in functionality, and we find them endearing! We encourage you to embrace them, as they are quite literally the receipts we get for choosing to support sustainable fashion.
